Yusri Wants To Repay KAFA's Trust

Last Update: 05/03/2018

KOTA BHARU, March 5 (Bernama) -- Acting Kelantan coach Yusri Che Lah wants to repay the Kelantan Football Association's (KAFA) trust by presenting them with more exciting results in the Malaysia League (M-League) tournament this season.

The Perlis-born coach said contributing positive results and improving the quality of the game for the team would be one of the ways to reciprocate his employer's trust.

"I have to work hard using the experience I have to give something that will make KAFA happy, even though getting a positive result in every game is pretty tough," he said when contacted here today.

Yesterday, Bernama reported that KAFA continued to entrust Yusri to coach Kelantan pending appointment of the new head coach, after dropping Sathit Bensoh.

In return, Yusri hoped that the Kelantan players would hold hands and cooperate with him.

"I am hoping that the players will be able to maintain their momentum after having won two matches before this, and to improve their performance and weaknesses," he said.

For the record, Yusri managed to bring victories to the team after taking over the task from Sathit in mid-January as the Red Warriors beat Perak 3-2 and Terengganu City 2-0 in their own turf.
