FBM KLCI Futures Higher At Midday

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) futures contract remained higher at midday Wednesday, supported by active buying activities in the underlying cash market, dealers said.

November 2009 rose 14.5 points to 1,252, December 2009 increased 13.5 points to 1,251.5 and March 2010 jumped 15.5 points to 1,251.5.

Meanwhile, June 2010 remained untraded at yesterday's settlement price of 1,235.

Turnover stood at 2,905 lots while open interests was at 16,447 contracts.

The FBM KLCI on Bursa Malaysia was 6.89 points higher at 1,249.21.
