FBM KLCI Futures: Higher In Early Trading

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) futures contract was higher in early trading on Wednesday, tracking a firmer underlying cash market performance.

At 9.34am, November 2009 and December 2009 rose 11 points each to 1,248.50 and 1,249.0, respectively, while March 2010 gained 12 points to 1,248.0.

June 2010 was untraded and remained at yesterday's 1,235 settlement price.

Turnover stood at 1,270 lots while open interest totalled 16,447 contracts.

The FBM KLCI on Bursa Malaysia was 5.01 points higher at 1,247.33.
