KUALA LUMPUR, March 6 (Bernama) -- Defending champions, Kedah will have a difficult task in the FA Cup third round when they were drawn to meet two-time champions Pahang in an away game.
The clash is a repeat of the 2017 FA Cup final which saw Kedah edged Pahang 3-2 at Shah Alam Stadium.
In the draw at a shopping complex today, five-time FA Cup champions Selangor were drawn to meet two-time champions Terengganu FC 1.
Meanwhile 2016 champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) who are the Super League champions should have not problems progressing to the quarter-finals when they were drawn to meet Premier League side, UiTM FC in Shah Alam.
In this regard, Pahang team assistant manager Datuk Che Nasir Salleh said the Red Eagles have an impressive string of away matches.....
