KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 (Bernama) -- Three-time Malaysian Hockey League (MHL) champions, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) were made to sweat for a 3-2 win over Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) in a Premier Division opening match at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil tonight.
TNB opened the score with a field goal via Muhamad Ramadan Rosli in the 24th minute before UniKL import player Jeroen Dolf Hertzberger equalised via a penalty corner in the 38th minute.
Three minutes later, another national player Tengku Ahmad Tajuddin Tengku Abdul Jalil put TNB ahead through a penalty stroke but Dutchman Hertberger blasted his second goal in the 45th minute.
Syed Syafiq Syed Cholan was the toast of TNB when he netted the winning goal in the 55th minute.
Earlier, TNB Thunderbolt edged Maybank 2-1 in another opening match at the same venue.....
