KUALA TERENGGANU, Sept 4 (Bernama) -- Terengganu chief coach Abdul Rahman Ibrahim will be capitalising on the month-long break to raise their game after booking a berth in the 2014 Malaysia Cup quarter-finals starting in early October.
He said the match against Johor Darul Takzim (JDT), the leaders of group C, was crucial for them to qualify for the semi-finals.
Therefore, he said there was a need to perk up team morale before the meeting with JDT, touted as possible Malaysia Cup champions this season.
"I am confident of defeating JDT in the quarter-finals for us to enter the final this year," he told reporters after the team's last group stage match against Sarawak here last night which ended in a 0-0 draw.
Asked on the absence of goals, he admitted Terengganu's attacking machinery was still not as sharp as he wanted despite launching waves of attacks.....
