SEPANG, Sept 2 (Bernama) -- After his dream to clinch the world champion's title for the first time in Copenhagen was dashed Sunday, Malaysian badminton superstar Datuk Lee Chong Wei has put it behind him and is now turning his sights on the Asian Games which kicks off in Incheon, South Korea on Sept 19.
"The Asian Games is just two weeks away. I have to prepare and I hope I can be mentally ready for it.
"I have not recovered fully mentally (after Copenhagen) and I hope I can get down to training for the Asian Games without delay," he told reporters on arrival from Copenhagen at the KL International Airport here tonight.
According to Chong Wei, the Asian Games would be tougher for him because of the cast and more so it is held once every four years.
"The Chinese, Korean and Indonesian shuttlers will be out in full force. So I will have to fortify my mental strength further," he said.....
