KOTA BAHARU, Aug 24 (Bernama) -- The Kelantan Football Association (Kafa) will use the 2014 Malaysia Cup competition as a platform to evaluate its players to determine if their contracts can be renewed.
Kafa advisor Tan Sri Annuar Musa said the association would evaluate the players in an effort to strengthen the team next year.
"We will evaluate the performances of the players whose contracts are expiring this year. We will only issue a letter of offer, if we are satisfied," he told reporters after a Hari Raya celebration and the launch of the Kelantan Mara Entrepreneurs Association here, Sunday.
He said the approach to recruit import players next season would also be changed.
"We will change our approach this time whereby I will personally go and see for myself the players in action. Regardless if it is in Indonesia, Thailand or anywhere, I will go because I am fed-up with excellent record on paper but rotten performance on the field. We have also identified several players," he said.....
