PDRM Retains Clean Record In 2014 Malaysia Cup First Round Matches

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 23 (Bernama) -- The police (PDRM) team has virtually qualified for the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Cup 2014 after maintaining a clean record after the first round matches completed Saturday.

The Cops leads the group D standing with maximum nine points after thrashing T-Team 4-1 at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman stadium in Paroi.

The 2014 Premier League champion netted the first goal after 12 minutes through Bobby Gonzales while import player from Maldives, Ashfaq Ali scored the second goal in the 23rd minute and the third one by Bobby at the 66th minute.

Charles Souza Chad reaffirmed PDRM's win through a fourth goal at the 83rd minute while T-Team's solitary goal was netted by Rwanda import player Jimmy Mulisa at the 86th minute.

In the Darul Makmur stadium, Kuantan, Pahang failed to continue its fine run after suffering a 2-3 defeat from Felda United in the group A competition.....
