JOHOR BAHARU, July 23 (Bernama) -- Super League champion Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) received RM760,000 as incentive from the state government for winning the title.
The state government also handed out incentives amounting to RM388,250 for the Johor contingent's success at the SUKMA in Perlis in winning 23 gold, 32 silver and 40 bronze medals.
The incentives were announced by Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin who praised the JDT team for winning the Super League title after 24 years.
The Johor contingent led by Ali Mazat Salleh, comprised 332 athletes and officials.
