KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 (Bernama) -- Former Selangor stalwart Reduan Abdullah and UiTM FC assistant coach Wan Mustaffa Wan Ismail were appointed as assistants to National head coach Dollah Salleh.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) in a statement said Reduan and Wan Mustaffa were appointed as assistant coaches to Dollah who replaced Datuk K Rajagobal on July 9.
The FAM also said that former Johor goalkeeper Omar Salim has been appointed as goalkeeper coach of the National team (Harimau Malaya), Reuben Jude Balraj as fitness coach; Mohd Zaidi Salleh (team doctor); S. Sivanasvaran (physiotherapist); Mohd Zaidi Abdul Latib (masseur) and R. Sivakumar as kitman.
FAM deputy president Datuk Seri Afandi Hamzah had earlier announced the appointment of FAM vice president Datuk Sudarsono Osman as the National team manager and FAM secretary-general Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin as the assistant team manager.
Dollah is expected to call up 23 players for centralised training at Wisma FAM, Kelana Jaya starting Aug 1, to prepare for an international friendly against Tajikistan.....
