KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 (Bernama) -- National shooter Eddy Chew hopes his new pistol will bring him luck at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland from July 23 to Aug 3.
The 19-year-old does not want to waste his first outing in the prestigious event where he will compete in the 50m free pistol and 10m air pistol events.
"I will use a new pistol that is more customised than before. I changed its grip to suit my hand.
"The process, which took 12 hours, was complicated but now the pistol is more comfortable to use," he told Bernama.
Eddy was a gold medal winner in the men's 50m free pistol event which was his first appearance at the SEA Games in Myanmar last year.....
