KUALA LUMPUR, June 27 (Bernama) - Malaysia's chef-de-mission Datuk Ong Poh Eng is confident of shooting's prospect at Glasgow Commonwealth Games next month.
"We have a good record in shooting. I believe the shooters have a chance of winning medals for the country," he told reporters after observing preparation of the shooting and gymnastics squads at Bukit Jalil, here today.
Ong said the gold medal target would be announced soon.
The shooting squad won two gold medals at the New Delhi Commonwealth games four years ago.
They were won by Nur Suryani Mohamed Taibi and Nur Ayuni Farhana Abd Halim (10m air pistol/team) and Bibiana Ng (10m air pistol/individual).....
