KUALA TERENGGANU, June 26 (Bernama) -- The Terengganu state government will not disband T-Team although the team finished second last in the Super League competition and was relegated to the Premier League next season.

Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said he has asked state Youth, Sports and Human Resources committee chairman Rozi Mamat to prepare a detailed report to see if any action was needed, including a revamp.

Ahmad Razif said he would continue to support T-Team, including providing funds for the team.

"We will maintain the team to provide an avenue for local players from within the state to expand their base and showcase their potential," he told reporters after handing the keys to a house build under the Blue Ocean Strategy to Wan Yusof Wan Abdul Rahman, 68, at Kampung Banggol Che Him, Alur Kuda, Seberang Takir, here.

"By retaining the team we can provide an opportunity for players from Terengganu to improve their skills," he said.....
