KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 (Bernama) -- Four teams - two each from the Super League and Premier League - will battle it out for the two remaining Malaysia Cup slots in a playoff on Saturday.
T-Team who finished 11th and PKNS FC who finished last in the Super League table will face Negeri Sembilan and Johor Darul Ta'zim II (JDT II) who finished sixth and fifth respectively in the Premier League.
The Malaysia Cup which kicks off in September will feature 16 teams, made up of the top 10 placed teams in the Super League and top four teams from the Premier League, plus two teams from the playoff.
T-Team will face Negeri Sembilan at the Shah Alam Stadium while PKNS FC and JDT II meet at the Selayang Stadium and both matches kick off at 9.30pm using the knock out format.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) in its website www.fam.org.my said tickets for the matches would be sold at the respective stadiums on Saturday starting 6.30pm.....
