KUALA LUMPUR, June 21 (Bernama) -- Selangor revived its title hopes by closing the gap on Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) after a 3-0 victory over Sarawak at the Shah Alam Stadium, Saturday night.
The win saw Selangor who now have 40 points edge closer toward Super League JDT who have 41 points after both played matches each.
Selangor will have a better chance of regaining top spot as JDT will face a tricky fixture next when they travel to Kuching to face Sarawak at the State Stadium while Selangor play PKNS at home on Wednesday.
Selangor who welcomed chief striker Paulo Rangel from suspension, incidentally took the lead when the Brazilian struck in the 42nd and later added his second of the night in the 60th minute to put Selangor 2 up.
Ahmad Hazwan Bakri completed the rout with a 64th minute strike.....
