KUALA LUMPUR, June 17 (Bernama) -- Armed Forces (ATM) made sure the race for the Super League remained on tender hooks after gunning down league leader Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) 2-1 at the Selayang Stadium, here tonight.
JDT's loss, coupled with nearest rival Selangor's defeat ensured that the race for the Super League title will go down to the wires.
Armed Forces who disposed Selangor from the top of the league table last week, kept the momentum going to add another big name to its list of victims.
However, unlike Selangor, JDT remained at the top of the league table with 38 points, one more than Selangor who are second while Pahang with 34 points take up third spot.
Armed Forces drew first blood through its Argentinean import Bruno Martelotto in the 39th minute before Muhd Affizie Faisal made it 2-0 in the 59th minute before JDT reduced the deficit through Mohd Asraruddin Putra Omar's 84th minute strike.....
