KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 (Bernama) -- The Pahang team moved up to the third spot in the Super League after a narrow 1-0 win over their neighbour, Kelantan at Darul Makmur Stadium, Kuantan, Saturday night.
The FA 2014 Cup winners' 10th win gave them 33 points to take over from Terengganu, which lost 4-3 to Johor Darul Ta'zim on Friday.
The defeat saw Kelantan falling two places to the seventh spot with 28 points from 19 matches.
Argentine import striker Matias Conti was the hero for 'Tok Gajah' with his winning goal in the 63rd minute from a header by winger R. Gopinathan.
Prior to the match, Pahang which had won three trophies under three different coaches, the Malaysia Cup (Dollah Salleh), Charity Shield (Ronald Smith) and FA Cup (Zainal Abidin Hassan) marched around the stadium, witnessed by about 20,000 supporters.....
