Last update: 08/06/2014

KUALA LUMPUR, June 7 (Bernama) -- Malaysia suffered their fourth consecutive defeat after losing 2-3 to India in Group A in the 2014 Rabobank Hockey World Cup at the GreenFields Stadium, The Hague, Netherlands, Saturday.

This has put Malaysia, coached by Muhammad Dhaarma Raj Abdullah, at the bottom of the group which has six teams after collecting zero points thus far.

Malaysia lost 0-4 to Australia in their opening match last Saturday before going down 2-6 to Belgium on Monday.

The national squad then lost 0-2 to England in their third match on Thursday.

In today's match, both teams went out to get an early goal but luck favoured India more when Jasjit Singh Kular put them ahead in the 15th minute.....
