SEPANG, June 6 (Bernama) -- Former World Supersport champion Chaz Davies and Italian racer Davide Giugliano said they are taking Malaysia's erratic weather conditions in their stride in round six of the Eni FIM Superbike World Championship (SBK) at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) this weekend.
Noting that the weather now was hot, the Ducati Racing Team superbike riders said they were prepared for any eventuality including rain come race day.
"It's very hot here but we'll give our all even if it rains," Davies told reporters after the unveiling of Ducati's 1199 Panigale Championship Edition superbike at the SIC here Friday.
After round five at Donington Park, England in May, Davies is in fifth place with 109 points while Giugliano, with 82 points, is in seventh place.
Superbike World Championship defending champion Tom Sykes of Britain is in the overall lead after collecting 185 points.....
