KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 (Bernama) -- Two former Selangor greats had opposing views as to who would lift the FA Cup on Saturday.
Sufardi Rijan, 60, who was a household name in the state in the 70s, picked club side Felda United FC (FUFC) whereas Datuk Santokh Singh, 62, who needs no introduction, was of the view Pahang had the upperhand as they had won the FA CUP before.
"FUFC have raised their game. It is not impossible for them to overcome Pahang in their maiden FA Cup final," he told Bernama.
Santokh Singh had this to say: "Personally, based on their track record and coach Zainal Abidin Hassan who is renowned in Malaysian football, I pick Pahang."
Pahang were FA Cup champions in 2006.
The final will be played at the Shah Alam Stadium.....
