Malaysia Suffer Third Consecutive Defeat After 0-2 Loss To England

KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 (Bernama) -- Malaysia suffered its third consecutive defeat in the 2014 World Cup after losing 0-2 to England in a Group A match at the Kyocera Stadium in The Hague, Netherlands, Thursday.

The third defeat in as many matches would dampen National hockey team coach Muhammad Dhaarmaraj Abdullah's hopes of finishing better than the previous world cup standing.

Malaysia lost its opening match 0-4 to defending champion Australia and suffered another 2-6 defeat to Belgium in the second match.

Group A comprise six teams and headed by Australia, Belgium, England, India and Spain.

Malaysia's next match is against India on Saturday and Spain two days later.....
