FA Cup Final Venue Shifted To Shah Alam Stadium

PETALING JAYA, June 2 (Bernama) -- As the National Stadium pitch in Bukit Jalil is not ready for the FA Cup final between Pahang and Felda United FC on Saturday, the venue has been shifted to the Shah Alam Stadium.

FA Cup Final 2014 Organising Committee chairman Datuk Seri Afandi Hamzah said the committee found the grass at the National Stadium had yet to mature during an inspection recently.

Hence, it decided to change the venue at a meeting today to avoid damaging the grass, he told reporters after chairing the meeting at the Wisma FAM, Kelana Jaya here today.

Meanwhile, Afandi, who is also FAM deputy president, said both Pahang and Felda United FC would get 30,000 tickets each while the remaining 10,000 tickets, priced at RM40 for adults and RM5 for children, would be sold online at from tomorrow.

He said those who bought tickets online could claim them at the Malawati Stadium, Shah Alam from Wednesday until Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm as there would be no sale of tickets at the venue on the match day.....
