Felda United FC To Meet Pahang In FA Cup Final

SHAH ALAM, May 31 (Bernama) -- Club side Felda United FC qualified for the final of this year's FA CUP competition although recording a 5-5 aggregate after the second leg semifinal match at the Shah Alam Stadium here tonight ended in 2-2 draw.

Both teams were tied 3-3 after the first leg of their semifinal at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, Kota Baharu on May 6.

Felda United FC qualified for the final based on the away goals ruling.

For the record, before tonight, Sime Darby FC were the first club side to ever the reach the final, which they did in 2012, but lost 0-1 also to Kelantan at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

The Settlers as they are called will meet Pahang in the final on June 7. The Elephants booked their ticket to the final after winning by a 2-1 aggregate against last season's finallists Johor Darul Ta'zim in the semifinal.....
