KUANTAN, May 29 (Bernama) -- A group of Pahang football fans desperate to see their team play in the FA Cup second-leg semi-final against Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) bulldozed through counters after the tickets were said to have been sold out.
The fans were upset after they were told that all 32,000 tickets meant for Pahang fans for the encounter at the Darul Makmur Stadium tomorrow had been sold out barely two hours after the counters were opened at 9am.
The security personnel eventually managed to calm down the fans and brought the situation under control before the police escorted them out of the stadium at 11am.
A fan, Slina Awang, 48, said she brought her two children with her to queue up at the counter as early as 8.15 am and was told that the tickets were sold out hardly one hour later.
"I'm really disappointed as the tickets ran out, but to add insult to injury, even the counter meant for women were taken over by men," she told Bernama.....
