Afandi said the FAM was in the process of finalising details for the privatisation process before being implemented.
"We have started drafting the plan since last year and believe it is still in the right track. Privatisation of the M-League will be the right step forward in developing football in the country," he told reporters after watching a football match at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, here Tuesday night.
"We are currently in the process of setting up a body that will manage the M-League once it is privatised."
Afandi said all teams and stake holders would be briefed of the privatisation plan before being implemented.
"We will call all the participating teams and tell them the guidelines and criteria that will be expected of the club presidents once the M-League is privatised," he said.....
