Sevilla FC Beat S'gor 2-0 In LFP World Challenge

SHAH ALAM, May 26 (Bernama) -- The 2013 European League champions, Sevilla FC chalked up a 2-0 win over Super League leaders Selangor in a LFP World Challenge match at the Shah Alam Stadium here tonight.

The LFP (Spanish Football League) World Challenge is a special project of LFP by holding exhibition matches with selected league teams from other continents to promote Spanish football.

In the match, both teams went all out from the starting whistle but failed to find the net.

The continuous attack by the Spanish side managed by Unai Emery finally opened scoring with their German international player, Piotr Trochowski in the 31st minute.

The visitors continued to pile up pressure on Selangor and succeeded in adding another goal in the dying minutes of the first half when Diogo Figueiras headed in a cross from Jose Antonio Reyes.....
