KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 (Bernama) -- Recently crowned Europa League champions, Sevilla FC will be coming to Malaysia with the prestigious second-tier European tournament cup.
The Spanish giants are scheduled to play an international club friendly against Super League side, Selangor, this Monday (May 26) at the Shah Alam Stadium.
"We hope the cup's arrival comes as additional news to football fans as we are already treated to see one of Europe's best team in our own backyard," said Football Association of Selangor (FAS) Deputy President, Datuk Abdul Mokhtar Ahmad in a statement Thursday.
Sevilla defeated Portuguese side, Benfica 4-2 on penalties in the 2013 Europa Cup final at the Turin Stadium in Italy on May 14.
Sharing Abdul Mokhtar's view was Sevilla Manager, Unai Emery who said that his side was very excited to be playing against the Super League leaders in the match, this Monday.....
