KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 (Bernama) -- Star- studded Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) came back from behind to beat Singapore's Lions XII 3-2 in an exciting Super League match at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore, tonight.
The win saw JDT move up to third place behind Selangor and Pahang with 29 points, the same as Pahang, but with an inferior goal count while the Singapore outfit that is coached by former Singapore star Fandi Ahmad, suffered their seventh defeat in the Super League campaign.
Lions XII with 21 points are eighth in the league table.
The young lions roared into the lead when Muhammad Faris Ramli opened accounts in the 38th minute while Zulfahmi Arifin made it 2-0 with a superb freekick three minutes later.
However, two minutes later (43rd min), JDT's Argentinean import Jorge Pereyra Diaz managed to reduce the deficit before another Argentinean, Luciano Figueroa, levelled the tie at 2-2 in the 55th minute from the penalty spot.....
