KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 (Bernama) -- Selangor tightened their grip on the Super League standing after chalking up a slim 1-0 win over Sime Darby FC at Shah Alam Stadium tonight.
Imported striker, Paulo Rangel of Brazil was the toast of the Red Giants after slotting in the solitary goal via penalty kick in the 37th minute.
The victory enabled Selangor to collect 34 points, five ahead of the nearest challenger, Pahang.
Terengganu rose one rung to the third place after defeating Singapore's Lion XII at Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium in Kuala Terengganu.
In the match, it was the visitors who stunned the host team with the opening goal in the eighth minute through Mohammad Khairul Amri Mohammad Kamal before Terengganu bounced back thre minutes later with an equaliser by Javier Estupinan Romero.....
