Sarawak FA Needs Four Points To Avoid Relegation

Last update: 17/05/2014
KUCHING, May 17 (Bernama)-- The Sarawak FA team needs to collect another four points to secure a place in next year's Malaysia Super League or risk relegation to the Premier League next season.

Head coach Robert Alberts said his team would need to win all the remaining matches in order to continue playing in the super league next season.

"We need a minimum of four points more but to be secure it would be better if we could collect six points from our last four matches.

"If we don't collect points from these last four matches it's going to be a lot of stress for us," Alberts told the press after his team edged Selangor PKNS 2-1 at the State Stadium in Kuching, Friday night.

Sarawak's next match will be away against Perak on Friday, a match which Alberts described as "going to be tough as it requires a lot of running".....
