KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 (Bernama) -- Skipper Hairuddin Omar is optimistic that the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) will not be relegated to the Premier League next season.
He said although 'The Gladiators' were propping up the Super League table, he was confident the players would bounce back with positive results in the remaining nine matches.
"I believe that ATM will remain in the Super League next season," he told reporters after the launch of 'Protect The Goal' campaign by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), here Friday.
ATM are sitting bottom of the Super League table after playing 15 matches and collecting 12 points from three wins and three draws.
Hairuddin blamed the team's poor performance to injury suffered by key players Amiridzwan Taj Tajudin and Marlon Alex James.....
