Muhamad Edros Win's Men's Sprint At Southeast Asia Grand Prix

KUALA LUMPUR, May 15 (Bernama) -- National track cyclist Muhamad Edros Md Yunus today recorded a hattrick when he again won in the men's sprint category in the third stage of the 2014 Southeast Grand Prix track cycling championship at the Cheras Velodrome here Thursday.

Muhamad Edros defeated compatriot and senior rider Josiah Ng with a 2-0 score in the final.

Third place was won by Frenchman Charlie Conord who defeated his compatriot Quentin Lafargue.

"In each of the race I competed with different riders and I am satisfied with my performance especially ahead of the 2014 Asian Cycling Championship (ACC2014).

"In today's race, I had a slight advantage because Josiah was probably a bit tired because he had do three sprints in the semifinal earlier," he told reporters afterwards.....
