KUALA LUMPUR, May 15 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's number two women's squash player Low Wee Wern moved into the quarterfinals of the 2014 British Open squash championship after a five-set thriller.

The 23-year-old defeated homester, Emma Beddoes, 11-9, 11-9, 6-11, 6-11, 11-9 in a lengthy five-set match which lasted an hour and 16 minutes.

"Every time we play, we go the full distance, so today was no different. She (Emma) played very well today, all credit to her, she was very sharp and hardly made errors.

"I had to dig deep into my reserves and make each and every rally count," Wee Wern was quoted saying in the tournament's official website, www.britishopensquash.net.

In the second round match held at The Sports Arena Hull, West Park in England on Wednesday, Wee Wern started off her game by winning the first two sets, 11-9 and 11-9.....
