KUALA LUMPUR, May 11 (Bernama) -- National track cyclist Josiah Ng, who was involved in a crash last year, had a good start when he won his first international track tournament at the 1st South East Asian Track Grand Prix (GP) 2014 Sunday.
Josiah, who had sustained a punctured lung, a few broken ribs and broken collarbone had no problem overcoming five other riders when he clocked 11.077 seconds in the Keirin men's elite event.
"It was good to have this type of race, especially for the local riders to learn more about the technics.
"This tournament is good as it exposes to all levels of the development programme," he said after the race at the Cheras Velodrome here.
He said young riders like Mohd Edrus Md Yunus and Muhammad Shah Firdaus Shahrol performed really well and had improved their skills tremendously.....
