SHAH ALAM, May 5 (Bernama) -- Selangor's head coach Mehmet Durakovic wants his strike force to come up with a 'goal-den' finish in front of their opponent's net in the remaining eight Super League matches to remain in contention for the title this season.
The 48-year-old Aussie said a lack of poor finishing against Terengganu had become costly in the title race as both sides shared the spoils with a goalless draw in the match played at the Shah Alam Stadium yesterday.
"If our finishing is good in front of the Terengganu goalmouth, we can at least score two goals...(Our striker) Paulo Rangel and players played well in the match but were unable to penetrate Terengganu's solid defence," he told reporters after the match.
The results saw the 'Red Giants' squad tied at 28 points with leaders, Pahang after 14 matches, but remained in second place with less goal differences as compared to the 'Elephants' squad.
Terengganu however, clinched the fourth position from Sarawak with a better goal margin despite both sides sharing 22 points.....
