SHAH ALAM, May 4 (Bernama) -- Selangor failed to take advantage of playing on home ground when they were tied to a goalless draw with Terengganu in the solitary Super League match at the Shah Alam Stadium, here Sunday night.
The result saw Selangor sharing 28 points with leader, Pahang but are placed in second spot in the Super League based on an inferior goal difference compared to Pahang.
Terengganu, meanwhile, shared 22 points with Sarawak but are in the fourth spot based on a higher goal difference.
In the match at Shah Alam, both teams appeared to be balanced with each team attacking the other's goal mouth as soon as referee, Syed Azhar Syed Kamar blew the starting whistle.
Terengganu almost scored in the 21st minute but the header by Colombian import, Javier Andres Estupinan Romero from a free kick taken by Ismail Faruqi Ashari was parried by Selangor goalie, Mohd Farizal Marlias.....
