Last update: 02/05/2014

KUALA LUMPUR, May 2 (Bernama) -- National petanque squad head coach Zanilisa Mohamad is optimistic that the team can repeat their bronze performance at the 2014 World Cup in Tahiti this October.

He is banking on the men'strio of Mohamad Nuzul Azwan Ahmad Termizi, Muhammad Hafizuddin Mat Daud and Saiful Bahri Musmin to repeat their bronze feat in the triples at the last edition in 2012 in Marseille, France.

"I am also counting on Mohamad Nuzul Azwan to deliver in the shooting event," he told Bernama here Friday.

He added that only the men's team would feature at the World Cup as the women's squad did not make the cut.

The men's team qualified after coming in fourth place at the Asian Cup in Bali last year.....
