No Time For Complacency Against Canada - Dharmaraj

KUANTAN, May 2 (Bernama) -- It will be a do-or-die match for Malaysia and Canada in their semi-final encounter in the Champions Challenge 1 Hockey tournament on Saturday, said national hockey squad coach, Muhammad Dharmaraj Abdullah.

Muhammad Dharmaraj said even though recent matches favoured Malaysia, the country could not afford to be complacent as Canada would come out fully prepared for a win tomorrow.

"It is not an advantage for us as Canada through the recent games would also know our strength and weaknesses.

"They will study the recording of the last two matches just like us to draft out their next strategy for a berth to the final," he told reporters Friday.

He reminded all players to be fully prepared in facing any eventualities tomorrow including the possibility of the match being decided on penalties after 70 minutes of play.....
