KUALA LUMPUR, April 22 (Bernama) -- The Football Association of Johor has decided to sack On Jabbar as the team manager of Johor Darul Ta'zim II (JDT II) for his alleged altercation with a match official last Saturday.
Johor FA honorary secretary Mohd Fahmy Yahya said the decision was taken with the consent of Johor FA President Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, since he was alleged to have punched Sukri Abdul Rahman who was the match official in the Premier League match between JDT II and UiTM FC at the Pasir Gudang Stadium.
Mohd Fahmy in a letter that was posted on the official Facebook of JDT II (Johor Southern Tigers) said On Jabbar was also fined RM25,000 but he would remain as an exco member of the Johor FA.
The team manager was apparently unhappy and angered by the way the match official had handled the match, including decisions made by him (Sukri) during the match which ended in a 2-2 draw.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) secretary general Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin was also quoted as saying On Jabbar would also face severe punishment for his action, including a possible life ban from football activities.....
