KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 (Bernama) -- National sepaktakraw head coach Jamaluddin Hassan is optimistic that his charges would be able to win at least two medals at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

He said the focus on medals would be on the 'regu' and team events because the national squad has been performing well at recent international competitions.

Jamaluddin told Bernama that the National Sports Council (NSC) were also aware of the target set for the Asian Games.

"The players will be involved in a number of invitational tournaments here and abroad as part of preparations for the Asian Games," he said.

Among tournaments expected to be participated are the Perlis Invitational (Tuanku Raja Muda Perlis Trophy) in May and friendly matches against clubs in Thailand, South Korea and Myanmar.....
