"I am very shocked right now...so happy with this win. It is my first WTA singles title win. The match was very tough. I am very tired right now. She (Cibulkova) played so well tonight. I just tried to be calm and play my best tennis and it was not easy to win this game," she told reporters when met after the match at Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC), here Sunday night.
Vekic, ranked 95th, admitted to feeling good to win the match before her family, while keeping high hopes to gain more victories.
