KUCHING, April 19 (Bernama) -- Sarawak head coach Robert Alberts said tactical changes he made in the second half earned them three full points when they edged Kelantan 1-0 in the Super League match played at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in Kota Bharu Friday night.
He said they were trying to hold the Red Warriors as long as possible from scoring their opening goal before making tactical changes in the second half.
Alberts said the tactic worked well when Bosnian import Muamer Salibasic combined well upfront with Australian striker Ryan Griffiths to score the winning goal in the 52nd minute.
"However, Kelantan had more scoring opportunities and both teams had equal winning chances," said the Dutchman.
"That is the first time we won at the Sultan Muhammad IV stadium and overtake Kelantan in the league, and that is very important," he added.....
