Bus Driver From Johor Describes Incident At Perak Stadium As Terrifying

JOHOR BAHARU, April 16 (Bernama) -- Bus driver Ahmad Rashidi Yaacob, 38, from Johor claimed that his departure from the Perak Stadium after the match against Perak was a terrifying experience.

Ahmad Rashidi who was at the wheels of a bus with 33 Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) fans as passengers was pelted with stones while leaving the stadium last night after the match which was won by JDT.

He said he had never experienced anything like that in his 10 years as a bus driver because it happened even though the bus was escorted by a police patrol car.

"It was terrifying as the attack was continuous. I just concentrated on driving the bus out of danger to ensure the safety of the 33 passengers and kept praying to god.

"Thankfully nobody was hurt but the bus was damaged," he told reporters when met at the Larkin Stadium today.....
