Rosyita Eka Propels Indonesia To Suhadinata Cup Final

ALOR SETAR, April 10 (Bernama) -- Indonesia marched into the final of the 2014 World Junior Team Badminton Championships (Suhadinata Cup) after defeating Thailand 3-2 in the semi-finals at the Sultan Abdul Halim Stadium here Thursday.

Indonesia, runner-up in the last tournament will face China who edged Japan 3-2 in the other semi-final.

Indonesia's junior squad coach Bambang Suprianto described the victory as their best performance so far as they managed to surpass their initial target of reaching the semi-finals.

In fact, he attributed the win to the mixed doubles pair and women's doubles player Rosyita Eka Putri Sari, 18, who delivered two points from her matches.

On the final against China tomorrow, Bambang expects a tough fight as the Chinese squad have proved too strong in all departments, except the men's singles.....
