MARAN, April 6 (Bernama)-- Zainal Abidin Hassan is almost certainly to be appointed as the had coach of Pahang Super League squad to replace Ronald Smith whose contract was terminated earlier last month after holding the post for only three months.
Zainal Abidin's appointment was envisioned by the president of Pahang Football Association (PBNP), Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah.
He said he saw the former national player as the most qualified candidate who had done so much too boost the image of team.
"Zainal is qualified and has the potential to undertake the duty as Pahang coach and he is the most suitable person to fill the vacancy.
However, we will make an announcement on this later," he said after opening Maran Lake Arena here Sunday.....
