SHAH ALAM, March 31 (Bernama) -- Selangor coach Mehmet Durakovic has directed his boys to switch on the attacking mode right from the start when facing Vietnamese side, Hanoi T&T in their Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup Group F match at the Shah Alam Stadium, Tuesday.
Durakovic, a former Selangor stalwart from Australia said Selangor need an early goal to win the match, and boost their chance of qualifying for the second round since the team had only registered two draws and a loss in their three outings.
"Obviously, we need to attack from the beginning as we need all three points...I must admit it won't be an easy task playing in so many matches within a couple of weeks, but we will try our best," Durakovic told reporters ahead of their match, here, Monday.
Durakovic said several key players like defenders Steve Pantelidis, Muhammad Shahrom Kalam Abdul Kalam and Indonesian striker Andik Vermansah would be sidelined as they have yet to recover from injuries.
"(Our midfielder), K. Gurusamy will also be out for a few months or maybe a year (due to a knee injury) and he will undergo an MRI scan, later today and hopefully his injury will not be bad.....
