Pahang Dislodge T'ganu From Top Of Super League

KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 (Bernama) -- Pahang seized the top spot in the Super League from Terengganu after romping home to a 2-0 victory over Perak at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan tonight.

Dickson Nwakaeme and R. Gopinathan's goals in the 10th and 39th minutes helped The Elephants coached by Zainal Abidin Hassan to collect 19 points from 10 matches to top the table standing.

Terengganu dropped to second spot after managing only a 1-1 draw against neighbours Kelantan at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah, Kuala Terengganu.

Egyptian import Mohamed Shawky Yazid put Kelantan ahead in the 15th minute before Zairo Anuar Zailani pulled level for the Turtles in the 35the minute.

Sime Darby FC also secured three points when they edged Armed Forces (ATM) 3-2 at the Selayang Stadium.....
