SEPANG, March 27 (Bernama) -- Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One (F1) Team driver Nico Rosberg said his father, former F1 driver Keke Rosberg's success of winning five F1 races had spurred him to achieve more victories.
Rosberg who won the Australian Grand Prix (GP) last week said his father's achievement was something that he could be proud of as a son.
"I am proud of what my father achieved but I am focused on my job and getting the most out of it and definitely, yes, I am optimistic for the weekend and there is a possibility to win.
"I understand that it is interesting to make comparison but I do not compare even if I found it interesting," he said at the press conference, here Thursday.
Keke was the first Finnish driver to compete regularly in the Formula One series and also a winner of the 1982 Formula One World Championship. Rosberg said his win at the Australian GP was fantastic but he was also beware of the spirit of the other drivers to win Malaysian F1 GP.....
