Last update: 27/03/2014

KUALA LUMPUR, March 27 (Bernama) -- Felda United FC coach Irfan Bakti wants his players to try and win as many points as possible in the remaining 14 Premier League matches this season to keep their promotion hopes alive.

He said this would boost their chances of winning one of the two slots offered for the Super League, next season.

"I urge the players to collect as many points as possible from the rest of the matches because it is the best chance for our team to gain promotion to the Super League.

"I am not worried at the team's current position as we are only one point behind Johor Darul Ta'zim II which is third in the Premier League," he told Bernama, Thursday.

Touching on the ninth meeting against Perlis at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium tomorrow, Irfan wants the players to give their best although the Northern Lions are languishing at the bottom of the table.....
